In another life, I was an audiovisual translator who owned a subtitling company for 20 years and sewed as a hobby.

One day, I realised life is short, and I'd rather be sewing.

But my tiny Victorian terraced house posed an obstacle, as I did not have space to spread out my projects or store my equipment.

And if I had that problem, thousands of others might have it, too.

So I created this space where sewers and crafters can make, create, and be inspired.

“Find a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life,” right? This is me loving sewing and not working.
